Is Chaptify free to use?
Yes. Chaptify's free plan includes unlimited books and shelves, the focus timer, streaks, and basic stats, with no cap on how many books you track.
How is Chaptify different from Goodreads?
Chaptify focuses on building a daily reading habit rather than only cataloging books. It adds a Pomodoro reading timer, streaks, reading stats, and a live map of other readers in session, and it never limits how many books you can track for free.
Can I import my Goodreads library?
Yes. Export your library from Goodreads as a CSV file, then import it into Chaptify, and your books come with you.
Does Chaptify use AI?
No. Chaptify's recommendations aren't produced by AI or machine learning, and nothing in the app is written by AI: no generated summaries, reviews or reading profiles.
Does missing a day break my reading streak?
No. Missing a single day won't break your Chaptify streak, so one busy day doesn't erase the progress you've already made. Research on habit formation points the same way: missing one day doesn't undo a habit you're building.

What is the live reader map?
It's a real-time view showing where people around the world are currently in a reading session, so reading feels less solitary without turning into a social feed you have to maintain.
